About Grand Valley Television
Grand Valley Television is a student-run television station which is broadcast on Grand Valley State University's closed-circuit network and online through YouTube.
At this station, students from all disciplines work together to produce programming for the GVSU student body to enjoy. This ranges from news, documentary, serialized fiction, and even cartoon programs. GVTV is a great learning resource for students to learn the art of production. It provides an outlet for students to show work they may already have, or get hands- on experience, with different shows being shot all year long.
In addition, GVTV members hold lectures and labs to to share their experience, knowledge and techniques with others. Students who join GVTV are able to experience working with writing, filming, editing, acting, and producing shows they wish to be involved in. Got your own new idea? Pitch your own show at the beginning of each semester and see if it gets green-lit by our members.
Meetings are held weekly on Wednesdays, 9:00pm, Lake Ontario Hall, Room 174.
Join us! EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Majors outside of Film & Video and Broadcasting are encouraged to join us and participate in the creative endeavor of media production.
